In front of the library book shelves, our eyes glance at the backs of the books, the hands lightly touch those faded volumes, and in that moment our mind wonders what those pages may reveal. There is a time that cannot be measured, it is not made of minutes, it is not fleeting: It is the Temple of Memory that talks to us through the soul of those who came before us. Memory is not the past but a bridge to the future, books and libraries our freedom.
The Library is the refuge of the pensive soul,
where meditation becomes the light and repository towards the future.
It is the Temple of real freedom.
The man has never felt so free and high …
than when conversing with the rich spirits of perennial humanity.
Each past, present and future time belongs to him….
There are no forbidden lands, nor skies.
